In accordance with the European Parliament establishing “Erasmus +” ,last year the Italian National Agency approved the Project named “Qualified Abilities Linked to TOURism III” (acronym “Qu.A.Li.T._TOUR.III”) and our coordinating partner, the Cooperativa Sociale “Lo Spazio delle Idee”, has recently been organizing the last six group of students that are currently carrying out internship experiences in Dublin (Ireland), Portsmouth and Tunbridge Wells (England), La Valletta (Malta), Bordeaux (France) and Chiclana (Spain).
The project for the transnational mobility in the countries listed above, includes 15 participants (+ 1 tutor) from the following Secondary Schools:
-Istituto Statale di Istruzione Superiore “V. Moretti” , Roseto degli Abruzzi;
-Istituto Statale di Istruzione Superiore “Crocetti- Cerulli” , Giulianova;
-Istituto Statale di Istruzione Superiore “Di Poppa- Rozzi” , Teramo;
-Istituto Statale per i Servizi Commerciali, Turistici e Alberghieri “De Cecco”, Pescara;
-Istituto Statale di Istruzione Superiore “Aterno- Manthoné , Pescara;
-Istituto Tecnico Statale Commerciale per Geometri e per il Turismo “T.Acerbo”, Pescara.
The placements of the 15 interns will last 5 weeks and the working hours, max 8 hours per day, are arranged in the field of Tourism and Accountancy. The grant agreement establishes the following knowledge, skills and competences should be acquired during the training programme abroad:
-professional, technical and language skills,
-personal and intercultural competences.
Students receive an appropriate support in carrying out their daily tasks during the first week (language course and cultural activities) and during their 2nd, 3rd and 4th week thanks to the tutor in the intermediary organisation responsible for accomodation, language and working placements and thanks to the accompanying person from Italy responsible for assisting and supporting students in their mobility experience.
The Europass Mobility Certificate and a Language Certificate will be issued on completion of the training abroad and they both will assert the students’ results.
